The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR) requires all new and existing systems to be inspected in accordance with a with a written scheme of examination, which will include details of the system, inspection intervals, safe operating limits, as well as the proceedures and method statements for the examination by a competent person. The scheme must be reviewed by the competent person.
